Ιηvαr is an attempt to provide an integrative infrastructure to deal with software variability in the context of Multiple Product Line Environments.

For the purpose of configuration, the data formats in use or modeling approaches seldom make any difference to the end user. Our research objective is to facilitate exchange of variability models (regardless of the techniques, notations and tools in use in an organization) and make these models available for product configuration across organizational boundaries.
